Description
Set 6. Queen Elizabeth (Queen Mother) visited as a morale booster to the local people as Selsey was one of the places where the German invasion was expected. She visited 2 houses picked at random. One house was 8 Forresters Row (now 21 North Road). Picture shows Ken and Bess Maidment at ‘The Hut’ North Road (notes with photo).
